מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָֽמַר־יְהוָה֩ אֶל־בְּנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל לֹֽא־תָבֹ֣אוּ בָהֶ֗ם וְהֵם֙ לֹא־יָבֹ֣אוּ בָכֶ֔ם אָכֵן֙ יַטּ֣וּ אֶת־לְבַבְכֶ֔ם אַחֲרֵ֖י אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם בָּהֶ֛ם דָּבַ֥ק שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְאַהֲבָֽה׃
dari bangsa-bangsa yang tentangnya Yang Mahakekal telah berfirman kepada bani Israel, “Janganlah kamu bercampur dengan mereka, dan mereka pun jangan bercampur dengan kamu, sebab sungguh mereka akan membelokkan hatimu untuk mengikuti allah-allah mereka.” Kepada merekalah Salomo terpaut dalam cinta.
